Ride Summary: Our very first Coffee Outside ride wasn’t anything epic. It was a short — very short — ride to the JFG sign. We made coffee. The view was nice. The company was even nicer. It was a great way to start a lazy Sunday. Then a few years ago the JFG sign disappeared, tucked into some Indiana Jones-esque warehouse, and Coffee Outside wandered the land. But when one pot empties another mug is filled and now we have the CAR-FREE GAY ST BRIDGE!!!
Meet at the shop, wheels down at 9:15am, and we roll to the approximate center of the Gay St. bridge. Bring whatever you need to make and enjoy coffee out of doors (camp stove, aeropress, mug, etc).
Of course not everyone has the doo-dads for an al fresco cup, BUT COFFEE OUTSIDE IS FOR EVERYONE, so we’ll have plenty of grounds and water and fire to boil water…just bring a mug!!!
